Morning sickness is common in pregnancy. Some pregnant ladies have more morning sickness and some have low morning sickness , whether more or less ,treatment is same .So , here are 10 tips to manage morning sickness in pregnancy.
1.Avoid full meals and prefer small and frequent meals as digestion slows down in pregnancy due to progesterone hormone .Eat small means will help digestion.
2.Always avoid strong smells ,as increased levels of estrogen and human chorionic gonadotropin hormone triggers nausea. Strong smells tend to trigger brain.
3.Doctor consideration – If morning sickness is more and is not managed by tips ,consider taking doctor help.
4.Take rest properly .Pregnancy journey is all about taking rest and providing comfort to both yourself and to the baby. Rest in naps.
5.Drink plenty of fluids ,especially electrolyte rich fluids in order to avoid dehydration. Water nourishes the body and helps to feel fresh .
6.Exercise daily- exercise improves body health and maintains proper blood circulation in the body. Exercise freshens the mind and sharps brain.
7.Avoid spicy food ,strong flavoured food ,as in pregnancy ,growing foetus pushes the stomach muscles towards upper side of the body and spicy food will result in burning sensation and triggers vomiting .
8.Freshness is best , keeping body fresh solves almost all body problems .So .keep freshing your body .To do this , increase greenery around yourself, avoid screen time, eat healthy food and do yoga .
9.Vitamin b6 supplements- It enables nervous system development and sharpens the brain.Tablets of vitamin b6 are available .A pregnant lady can also prefer vitamin b6 rich diets such as chickpeas, potatoes . Vitamin b6 is also important for the babies as well.
10.Opt for bland foods ( foods which are easily digestible ) such as rice, bananas, soups ,boiled vegetables etc.
